I think this forecasting the end of the resources industry is a little overdone. Currently most metal prices have headed back to decent levels though not stratospheric, and yesterday we saw Australia's current account deficit back in positive territory on the back of the change in resources fortune. In fact on this basis, I am wondering whether the company is not getting many new contracts in the resources area is that they are deemed to have rotated out of the sector into surveying? I've said several times before that more contracts involving installation of solar panel fields for major remote operations is a great area to be in, and I am surprised that De Grussa is the only place we have done one of these.....why aren't we doing more? Every operation across Australia must be putting them in to minimise diesel use, surely?
