Simply put, hybrid powerplants are rare at the moment. Operators are fimilar with diesel and gas engines and how to balance a load bank using them which minimises risk associated with blackouts. I'm sure that more solar/diesel hybrid plants will be developed in the future as industry gains confidence (outside of the gas industry which has cheap access to fuel) but that could be years away.
