Agree numbers not great, but this can happen when a company changes tact from focus on one industry to another. However i am looking for value and if this change turns out to be right then the numbers will improve over time. The question is do i believe its the right move and do i think numbers will improve. Having been burnt by SGH, i can tell you i am always weary of the story and whether management can pull it off. If i do pull the trigger i will be making an investment of about 1 to 2 per cent of the portfolio as to not put too many eggs in the basket, wait for next set of numbers that will confirm or deny that i am right , then add or exit depending on outcome. At moment happy to observe and ensure i dont catch a falling knife, then if it either consolidates or bounces a little may enter or may decide to pursue another stock with value, as i am always on the look out and spend 90 per cent of time outside work researching the stock market. My wife hates my obsession with this, but its my hobby as well as building wealth, so she just has to put up with it. Have had a couple of good wins with MQG bought at 67 and AVB bought at 5.4 cents recently (my first freehold), so both super and personal account looking better. Did drop 10 K on SGH and have a small holding left that is just a punt at this stage. My most recent acquisition is DNA at 31 cents, got lucky that my low ball bid got hit which was unexpected. This one has its risk but with a pe of 4 , and a casino sector at its bottom , confidence wise, i can see a bounce on the horizon.
