Khoemacau is wholly owned by private company Cuprous Capital Ltd, which in turn is owned 87.9% by Cupric Canyon Capital LP, a company majority owned by funds managed by Global Natural Resources Investments (GNRI) and 11.9% by Resource Capital Fund VII LP (RCF).
Bloomberg reported back in April that GNRI were considering options for the Khoemacau mine, including sale, and were working with an adviser.
GNRI are London based. RCF has a NY office. Advisor - ?.
Pure speculation – the NY trip may be related to associated machinations.
