Given they talked sensibly to you because, I assume, you approached them in a professional and unaccusing manner, which is my guess why you had a good idea of when the next announcement was due. I appreciate that. I'll probably catch up with them at the AGM in say late Nov.
Also, I have a feeling you've established a rapport with them. Over decades, I found directors will not break the rules but they will be more forthcoming to supportive shareholders in what they can say.
