Ive worked in chemical plants my whole life. Ask any operator would they rather handle HCL or H2SO4. HCL strong acid no doubt but much easier to handle and dilute to workable concentrations needed in chemical processing. HCL dilutes easily in water and fumes are nowhere near like H2SO4. Sulfuric acid fumes are killers and these fumes are hard to control. Who wants to vent H2SO4 into the atmosphere and EPA are all over the use. Ever heard of acid rain. Probably not , that chemistry is well beyond most. cheers buddy.
