He did go into a bit of an explanation about why HCl would have been chosen over H2SO4 and he said likely to do with type of mineral etc. I can’t repeat it as most went over my head. Seems it would have been a deliberate choice based on science.
As mentioned this is not an end of project scenario. He mentioned Anglo use HCl and several others. It’s just the CAPEX. will be higher and OPEX higher.
My feeling is this is why a high number such as 10mpta has been thrown around. You can cover the higher costs or poor grade through volume.
Sentiment is “buy” because this not a project ender. It’s just another step getting the necessary ducks in a row.
