Ok so let’s get this right. They’re saying there was no increase in cytokines. So that proves the Nox drug prevented cytokine storm? Really??
perhaps the actual reason the levels didn’t go up has absolutely zip to do with Nox drug but maybe this is a patient group that wouldn’t have progressed anyway? Not every person with Covid deteriorates! Perhaps whatever other standard of care they received in hospital kept cytokines from rising? Did any get dexamethasone or other steroid ? The announcement tells the market nothing about the actual outcomes of these patients. Did they all make it home? did any end up in icu.
And so on the basis of making bugger all difference to markers they’re consulting business advisors and regulators. Why exactly? To discuss the weather? I just find this announcement to be premature and unconvincing. All imo.
