Good luck, mate. The current state of the markets is unnerving - and being invested in this fund makes it even worse.
I think you have done the right thing. I wish I wasn't so stubborn/stupid and just got out as well.
In retrospect I fell hard for the VGI slogan of "once restricted to high net wealth individuals etc... " they sold it well.
On top of the horrible investment in their funds - I also made the mistake of sinking money into the manager. This investment has lost just about everything as well, thanks to the lopsided merger with Regal - and just the fact anything with VGI associated with it - inevitably loses.
