This is the classic case of guys who come in from the big end of town, thinking they are Newcrest, and expecting people to fall over themselves to give them money. I think they have now realised they are a strapped start up, that needs to grind their way to earn the capital that is required.....although given what the are paying themselves i don't think they have realised that yet.
