I think a big problem with googles cloud gaming platform was people were worried about lag and latency issues when trying to stream such massive graphically intensive games and if their internet could handle this.

i actually think by targeting games that are less GPU/CPU intensive etc but with a decent sized market that still enjoy these types of games (children around the world for nickolodeon games) the cloud streaming service will be able to efficiently deliver the content and will be a much smoother and enjoyable experience. You only need to charge people $5 a month with 1mil global users to earn $5mil monthly for example. Would scale quite easily.

Games and platforms to play these games can be costly and kids will likely ask parents to purchase them multiple new games within a year. Only paying $60 a year versus $300 for a console and $50-60 per new game is a decent savings.
