February 25, 2025: Graphite Acquisition Corp. announced a proposed reverse takeover of Bahia Graphite Corp, aiming to enhance their position in the graphite sector.
In December 2024, Norge Mining agreed to acquire Skaland Graphite, Europes largest natural graphite producer, from Australias Mineral Commodities Ltd (ASX:MRC). This acquisition strengthens Norge Minings resource base in critical raw materials.
Also in December 2024, Tokai Carbon Co. completed the acquisition of U.S.-based graphite machining companies KBR, Inc. and MWI, Inc. through its subsidiary, Tokai Carbon USA. This move aims to consolidate and expand Tokai Carbons operations in the U.S. market.
In Oct BKT (Blackrock mining) secured multiple funding investments to advance the development of the Mahenge graphite project in Tanzania.
That said - Syrah is leaps and bounds ahead of all the ex-China competition in terms of Natural Graphite resource size and grade with a fully complete mine and associated infrastructure as well as the only fully functioning, commissioned and qualified AAM plant on USA soil.
