It is plain to see that BC's departure is because he wants to open his own Fund Management business and SJP will follow BC into the new company.
Pure speculation on my part (until it is on paper) but this part of industry have always operated in this way. This is not the first time I've seen this happen and I would wager it won't be the last. There is really nothing nefarious about it. That is just how it is...
One thing I do know for sure, once BC establishes his new company in the ASX I will be there backing him on the endeavour.
