Sorry, Mark, I did respond, or thought that I had, must have pressed the wrong button 'cos there's nothing there.
The situation is, if you take it at face value, MHC are going nowhere due to Labor's stated policy. However, MHC's shareholders could cash in their seemingly worthless(?) holdings in exchange for VMY paper, as a result their hopes are alive and VMY gets an additional resource for the long-term future. Just my take on the idea, feel free to ignore.
