Personally I think it is weird to dump so much nearly 1 billion dollars worth of shares onto the market. Typically these shares would be sold to another party in an off market trade. My take is that VIP need cash quick, maybe they have obligations in Europe such as needing to buy a shit load of Nat gas at spot prices to get through winter. They are also involved with UK and EU energy/utility markets that are highly regulated with price caps etc so who knows what losses they could be incurring. Therefore they need to sell their winners to fund their losses/obligations.
