Hang on - so when it was released during trading hours on friday - it didnt cause a bang because apparently people who track stocks were already in weekend mode. But then it didnt make a bang on monday afternoon because it was already "old news" and they werent aware a news release had taken place?

I mean seriously - glad i dont trade stocks based on timing of the news vs fundamental research and analysis.

Think about what you are saying - how can they not be aware - the news is in the public domain - if they left early on friday its so they can come and check what happened between when they clocked off and when they started on monday. Its not like people ignore anything that happens between friday lunch and monday morning. Well most people dont - and you do!
