95% of liquidity in stocks like this is generated by day traders who see announcements come up on Commsec or whatever other platform they use
They don't use the weekend to go look for the announcements because they couldn't give a toss about SPA or any other company
Quite frankly, if this was left to investors and not traders, the stock would be at 10c because there is sweet FA investor interest in it
