Power supply and cost problems in Europe is further driving up the price of Ferrosilicon with sales at "€4,500 per mt" (US$5,231/tonne)
In negotiations for 2022 European ferrosilicon contracts one seller offered a monthly index price plus a 2% premium, ddp for the entire year. There were reports of sales at around €4,500 per mt, dip, for small quantities.
