sarawak state government had different set of rules for working visa or tourist.

I am a west malaysian, which i myself also require working visa to work in sarawak (something to do with the constituition), which my HR had done and renew few time for me.

sometime federal and state goverment had dispute on certain royalty issue, and my visa renewal got "delay"....and i had to enter sarawak using another passport....as tourist (fly bck every 3mth)

by right, CMSB as local partner (assume good term with state government) should help in this visa arrangement.

for china resident, i dont think entering as tourist (visa on arrival?) would work, immigration are quick strict on this.
they will even question you, if your passport indicated freq enter/exit, but dont have working visa.

i did heard immigration got spot check in miri office, but never seen one in bintulu.
