I was prospecting on an exploration tenement last year in the Gascoigne (WA) Got a signal under a fallen tree on the side of an old dry creek bed. Dragged it out of the way with a bit of effort and the one signal turned into 3. One being my PB at 7.4 grams, the others two about a gram a piece. The PB was bright and chunky gold, a real beautiful slug. The fever set in really deep and I think I’m stuck with it eternally now. Never forget that moment I saw it in the scoop. Keep in mind that at the time id only ever found a few specs. Needless to say a few cold beverages were consumed that evening.

Would love to join the ounce club one day, even the 3/4 ounce club. Only a prospector knows the feeling.
