In Large I agree with you, however most of these successful micro caps that make it usually have solid management, good governance and most importantly a solid resource or product that can legitimately be advanced. Unfortunately in this case I don't believe MTC have any of this.
It's clear this company will see capital raise after raise after raise with free shares gifted to management whilst also taking salaries for what? It's taken 4 years to get to this point. What have they done in that time?
I can see the logic in parking money in a shell with the hope they pick up some good ground and try to increase value that way. But really saying you wont sell until MTC reaches $3 is just stupid imo (especially in this current companies framework) and likening it to LYC or DOU or any other company with the intent that it will do the same thing is foolish imo. But hey it isn't my money so what do I care!
