The minimum volume of earth to be removed to reach that ore at 130m down hole (vertical depth NOT 87 but 113m), would be 1,920,000 cubic metres.This is for a pit with wall slope of 45 degrees.
The minimum volume of earth to be removed for a pit to reach (bas10's) 87m would be 880,000 cubic metres. An error of 1,040,000 cubic metres. This is where back of envelope calculations can get you into trouble when deciding if to buy shares.
