broker data for 3 days after announcement:
as you can see, big boys were dumping, and mums and dads were accumulating
the result indicates that instos do not have good confidence in the price will go higher in the short future, and retailers have the opposite view.
imo I actually think there's a good chance to have a "No" outcome now, VIT management only hold very small % of shares issued - the majority is held in instos and retailers' hands, and from what we can probably guessed, half of these shareholders may still lose money @ 2.25, therefore, the chance of a No answer is quite possible, and after all, the chance of FIRB saying No is also considerable.
The fact is, we will not get the final outcome by Dec or early next year, my prediction for recent share price is, due to the long waiting window and uncertainties, the sp will fall gradually to sub 2.0 or maybe even 1.8 in the next couple of months, because if the answer is no, it makes sense for it to return to the sp it was before.
Therefore for these who bought in significantly below the current price including myself, I think the wise thing to do is to take the profit and sell now, we have enough time to observe the market reaction and return at any time. imo under the current circumstances I don't see any reason sp would improve in the near future, possibly even when FY17 result releases on 31 Aug.
And please don't get me wrong, I believe the company is performing well and has a good future, my view above only applies to the next couple of months.
