What should irk everyone is the lack of disclosure and being honest and clear. I think the share plunge has a lot to do with the company just being opaque with their announcements to date. We still don't know what the impact will be and I'm sure the company would have an idea but they r not sharing that with shareholders. The management has a lot of answering to do. They have lost confidence and credibility (not to mention the CEO selling half their holding late last year was an alarm bell).
