When investing it's always good to compare apples with apples.
I first bought VML years ago where unfortunately it now is again!
But I havn't been overly worried as I watch IXR which is definitely in the same race. Many investors see IXR as superior to VML, but I have been a believer in VML's story.
Regardless, over the year IXR has re traced from basically 8c to 3.2 today, until lunch time when it gained 6.25%.
VML has re traced from 7c to 2.3 c till today where it looked like regaining after opening but finished down at 1.8c.
So while VML and IXR have greatly mirrored each other, it is interesting whether money has moved from VML to IXR today. It has been a down day and IXR's afternoon rally interesting.
While I am down significantly, I have traded parcels over the years so it's not as bad as it could be. I'll continue to hold but bottom drawer.
Fundamentally I only see strength in VML.
