From what I've seen there is an importance placed on giving the Sami a voice, so I don't think giving them an extension on time should come as a surprise. It looks like 2 of the parties are already on shaky ground: "The Court has subpoenaed two parties to supplement their application with further information"... I think that translates to your application doesn't have any substance and is flimsy.
