None of this is wrong, but it's missing important context. We're lucky we don't have to blindly speculate as much as we used to.
If this is a concern of yours, then read on. Main comments:

• Talga's mining plans and the Kirunavarra mine are apples and oranges. Physically Talga is orders of magnitude smaller. Kirunavaara is a legacy mine with a lot of baggage.

• Talga's mine footprint doesn't actually impact the migration routes anyway (as far as I know, according to the maps).

• We know Talga's mine footprint does impact on a small grazing area, thus the decision to mine 6 months of the year when the reindeer have left.

• And, we know the courts are satisfied with that solution. To quote from the permit approval "A mine always involves an intervention in the natural environment and an impact on reindeer husbandry. In this case, mining will only be allowed to take place the six months a year that the Sami villages are not in the area. The court has therefore concluded that mining operations and reindeer herding can coexist on the site, says Lena Nilsson, also a technically knowledgeable judge in the case." It couldn't be any clearer, it's beautiful.

• The blue marking is the mine area.
• The red cross-lined areas are those of national interest and passages as far as reindeer husbandry is concerned.
• The green marked areas with squares are the designated grazing areas (and breeding?) areas.
• The green marking shows the pasture land that is no longer available.
