While I agree with your sentiment on the majority misunderstanding that VIT and the CanView platform is now intended to be primarily a middle-man service I disagree that it won’t translate into the recreational market.
Once legalisation occurs and we have dispensaries set up around Australia there will still be a need for a service connecting producers to widespread retail stores. Similar to the connection of suppliers to pharmacies CanView currently holds. This would not be a difficult process to transition and I can see potential in the retail market to link to POS systems which monitor stock levels and assist in ordering. I believe that the platform does have a place once legalisation occurs and is primed to pivot when the time comes as long as maintain market share and hold #1 spot for the product they provide.
