No they (BRE) can't "just follow" Serra Verde either. Sorry thought you were inferring BRE could follow them. MEI yes sort of, different basket make up but agreed metallurgy of MEI and VMM should mean decent commercial viability. The BRE met results in the prospectus were not commercially viable, perhaps they will find a magic pivot point that has better results? Met work tuning does have its limits. I may also have missed news in that regard if there's been some as I don't track BRE closely.
