    What you are stating is irrelevent to the judgement of whether a business has failed or not!
    You are the most misleading poster on these threads!
    Why would a successful business cease operations and sell assets at a discount?
    That in any one elses defintion is FAILED!

    Is buying a failed business a good business strategy?
    If the distributor was operating in an unsustainable environment, what needs to change to make it sustainable over the longer term?
    Does VMT need to reduce their selling prices and hence margins?
    Does the customer need to pay more for the same product?
    Does the distributor need to cut costs, maybe marketing or support budgets?
    I cant see any of these options as being a positive for VMT.
