It's not about optimism its about being objective in analysing a very dark period.
The investment decision at the moment revolves around an assessment of whether the company can survive and prosper.
In bad weather there will be dead crops and dead sheep in the paddock. In tough times there will be losses in the Profit and Loss account.
But bad weather and tough times are always followed by good weather and boom times.
Well managed and well funded farms and companies survive the bad times and prosper in the good times.
The company have answered the "How bad is it going to get" question that should have been on everyone's mind and their answer leads me to be optimistic enough to buy shares today.
It's a buy when others are selling opportunity.
It's a shame the sellers are thin on the ground.
