Well, that hurt! I thought I'd found the bottom of the dip buying into VMT at ~21c but no..
I've read through the whole thread. Clearly the Market, and most here, expected bigger sales numbers. What's still troubles me is that I do not understand *why* the shortfall. "Ukraine war" seems a thoroughly unsatisfying explanation.
What has "happened" to the EVs we didn't sell in this period..
1. Buyers deferred spend and didn't buy a vehicle at all. We ought to see some pent up demand show up in future quarters..
2. Buyers bought an ICE instead of an EV bike? Maybe more work needed on distribution networks and marketing..
3. Buyers bought a EV, but from a competitor? If so, this is the most worrisome option.. Any data to confirm, or deny, this?
