I'm always very weary of price sensitive announcements that come out late on a Friday. Yeah, $4.5 million is a bit ouchy, but the market price of IP Transit has been coming down every year since forever. Even the price that VOC pays for the IRU has reduced substantially over time. This has been a major factor in the flat-lining of the IP Transit business contribution, and the ever increasing proportion of our margin and net profit coming from the fibre and data centres businesses. The IP Transit provides a handy cross sell but I can't see the contribution to real earnings increasing substantially at any time in the future.
