But I will try and give you a heads up as to why things did not work out the way we would have liked. Without going too much into specifics Volt were in serious discussions with groups who at the time considered lending Volt some money to get Stage 1 up and running. It was at a time when many so called experts were telling everyone that graphite would be the next lithium. We were all reading the articles spruiking the importance of graphite in the making of batteries for electric vehicles. It basically never came to pass. Graphite prices never went through the roof as many had forecasted.
Graphite remained the ugly duckling.

This obviously had a significant impact on those that had considered lending monies to companies that were involved in the graphite space. When they saw that the interest was waning for the graphite price moving forward, they become skittish about putting their money on the table to assist companies like Volt into becoming graphite producers. As much as I was frustrated I understood the reasoning behind their reluctance.

There are many things I could add, but primarily the root of the problem was that graphite prices never exploded upwards as many believed it would, and that had a profound effect on those who had engaged in talks about lending money to companies to produce a commodity that was dropping in value.

What the graphite price does in the future is anyone's guess. Largely dependant on what the Chinese does in the future I guess. But if we did see graphite prices rise similar to what we witnessed with lithium prices 12 to 18 months ago, it would be a good place to start.

You would have noticed during the past 12 months, many of those Lithium stocks that went ballistic have now given back most of that gain when the Lithium price began falling. And there were many that rose as much as 500% and more during this time of excitement..Should we now lay the blame to all those Managers of those Lithium stocks that have lost 75% of their value in the past 6 to 12 months because of falling Lithium prices..

I guess that's a question only those who are holding Lithium stocks at inflated prices can answer.

Otherwise in 12 months, you and all the other spruikers will be extremely pi$$ed when the company winds up......or gets TO at 0.001.

Ownership, accountability and responsibility is what is needed by this board. Not excuses!
