Fair enough, Stan, as regards the guy's total wealth - $250K may well be chicken feed to him and its a punt that he's happy to take.
But that was actually the point of my comment. The market has examined this company over a LONG period of time and has seen everything that is to be known (or should have, if the BoD has executed its legal responsibilities properly) and has valued it at a penny per share.
The financial sector doesn't want to lend the company a measly $15 million - presumably, because it does not assess it as a reasonable risk. So what is the 'research' that compels our man to consider this an investment, rather than a punt? Wouldn't we all like to know?
