Well well wasn't that long ago a poster claimed company is threatening with a stick for those share holders who logically will do what you suggest (ie, arbitrage in light of the SPP at 20% discount).
That all sounds good yesterday (when VRC closed 1.9c) but not so likely today, ie shortfall from joe-bloggs looking probable. Not that Pattersons will be unhappy if company tells them to take on less after today, but of course not going to happen. So at the end just empty posturing and alienating more joe-bloggs.
