You haven't answered the question. All you have done is describe in very basic terms how shortselling works. We all understand how it works.
I'm telling you it's not possible to do legitimately with VRC. Please provide a link to a broker who will lend VRC stock? What are the margin requirements? What volume can I borrow?
Secondly, the data you are reviewing on the ASX site takes into account transactions that have not settled. This has been discussed many times before and it's not short selling.
