no offense taken - not a stock guru just an IT manager - but - obviously the trade even for 1 share sell or 1 share buy has to have a database entry who bought not just anonymous - now maybe you are right maybe only VRC has access to that data or only ASX - BUT if brokers do then they can buy or sell one share and see who is queuing to buy or who is queuing to sell even if its only the next in line eg xyz superfund - then look it up on asic - or if its TM buying or selling.... certainly that kind of information (if possible to obtain by institutions) would be advantageous to the person who had access to it - again you may be right that it is only available to VRC and ASX - but what if brokers had access to this it would explain the 1 share buys / sells ?
