if investors here are insvesting their excess cash then likely they have new cars atm and wont replace in next 2-4 years - for example my jeep is 2 years old i cant afford or need a new car - but my next one will ceratinly be an ev - love the free fuel
also my partner went to a local winery for her xmas party - winery called silos and said they had a tesla and tesla wall to charge it. the early adopters are jumping in now - wait till tesla starts cranking out its affordable cars - maybe ill buy my partner a tesla as a 2nd work car then use the jeep only when i go 4wd/camping.
