1. Samsung would (if they proceeded) likely sign a license with BRN so they can embed AKIDA directly in devices. They won't be buying chips from Socionext in volume.

2. Toyota won't be signing a contract with BRN - it will be an OEM manufacturer (like Renasas) that will sign the contract with BRN, again, likely to be under a license agreement

These chips that Socionext is manufacturing will likely go to niche consumers/manufacturers who will develop their products with a socket to plug the Akida Chip into:

Products like

- Nanose diagnostic devices
- Akida Chips for the radiation hardened boards in space applications.
