I think Strategic Metallurgy actually own the patents,LPD has some asset value however what that actually is in the real world will be unknown , for some time I have had considerable doubt this company could move to production and I believe and still do that a series of unfortunate events completely removed opportunity from the BOD s control as they had committed to what appeared to be a viable option{Covid and Geo Political issue the latter still being a very real problem }. All hope is not gone , that will take 6 months and the only real leverage is the patents as to who actually owns or controls them in this circumstance and wether they remain an asset is the only leverage other than a partrner prepared to take it all on .. Every Li producer has a a flaw when confronted with managing processing costs and LPD seemed to have more answers to those potential problems . I remain of the belief the Chinese control almost all the Li and battery market they are not encumbered with the prerequisites of Capitalism , that being proof of profitability, China have embarked on an unprecedented expansion into less contested territories within Asia , Africa as a whole and the South American countries . So to say I am gutted by this announcement is quite literal considering my very large sole investment, yes I know its foolish and the declared risk is now apparent, nonetheless I havent given up completely on LPD it may still rise from the ashes of Administration as a publicly listed company but will require massive restructuring if it survives, so I share your frustration and anger but still have some hope . --------how to turn enough for a modest home into nothing, well I remain hopeful that we survive unfortunately hope and confidence mean different things . I was wondering how they would get any finance given they supposedly had a finance option readily available and I wondered even more how they could keep that off the balance sheet so here we are nothing to be done we are at the absolute bottom of the list
