I read it differently. Although, given the ambiguity you could well be correct.
That would mean, in my opinion, on before the commencement of trading on Friday, 1 June 2018. Again, the announcements are poorly worded and open to misinterpretation.
I would have drafted that announcement to ensure that no ambiguity existed - unless of course ambiguity is the goal?
