Thinking a little bit out loud here, but wondering if this coup...

Thinking a little bit out loud here, but wondering if this coup could actually cause a long term positive effect. Short term is obviously not ideal due to uncertainties.

In the event the military are over thrown/give back power, the coup has brought the country to the forefront of alot of major countries minds, such as the US.

Surely if democracy is restored they will do what they can to help the country progress, through things such as trade.
