Agree with your sentiments Dave. Also agree that given the turbulence in the market right now - it is a good time to be in suspension.

The key, IMO, is as follows:

" the Company continues to work with Snow Peak Mining Pty Ltd (‘SPM’) and their secured lenders to remove security attaching to the SPM assets and allow Settlement of the Asset Sale Agreement. In conjunction with this the Company is also in advanced discussions to establish additional project finance that will be required to fund the plans of the Company going forward. Progressing these steps is taking longer than the Company anticipated."

As I mentioned on another thread my view is that the issues may relate not just to assets of SPM but of SPI. If the lending was via the financiers behind SPI then the security may involve assets across the SPI group. But it is good to know that the security is all that is holding back the settlement of the Asset Sale Agreement.

It is also good to know that CSD is negotiating for a financing facility for expansion of the operations. I always doubted that they would do this via a CR given that they have valuable assets with "nil" debt.

I will go out on a limb and say that if CSD does not survive, then I doubt any other resource co will survive. The chances of that happening are nil IMO. So the future for CSD is, IMO, very good.

    All IMOO and pls DYOR!!
