In answer to my own question, I have just spoken with the co sec and, on reflection, she didn't seem to think the suspension would be lifted before 30 June this year. Bummer for anyone who needs to realize a loss this year.

Further note to self:

Leaving dog shares in the bottom drawer is a bad idea, because if they suspend or delist, things get very difficult. Dump the shares and take the loss while you can. Losses can be rolled forwards indefinitely, but they can't be rolled backwards.
