@DiiDJJ to say Port Hedland hasn't been receiving large items through the port to date is very far from the mark. The existing Infrastructure is capable of receiving freight 3x as large as what is needed for Hy energy project. BHP RTIO & FMG been using the facility for years..
What would be helpful is additional facilities / staging land to cope with the congestion that will be caused by multiple projects in the build phase over the next 10 years as container & break bulk vessels are left sharing the available berths.
