Yes in theory but the Malay administrators would be pushing Besra pretty hard for repayment and I suspect could make life pretty uncomfortable for Besra in country.
Its not as straightforward as you suggest. So a trade sale might be the best outcome for all parties under a Quantum bankruptcy scenario.
