(a) why was the first application rejected.
(b) was the second application acceptable, but, maybe, wasn't received by 12 midnight on 31 October, although Icon was obviously given time to answer the deprtments request for "further information".
This is NOT unusual for Queensland's public "service"!!!
Now, shoud all of us now become cynics?
There are billions of dollars of perfectly good gas under ATP855 and the actual Queensland govenment would be very supportive of that gas being developed, and/or a brand new blue hydrogen hub being created!!
Could skullduggery be at play, that too, is not unusual!!!
Does the left hand (the bureaucracy, know what the right hand, the govenment, know what's goin on?? VERY typical.
Either common sense will prevail with that legal representation, failing which, it becoimes a nasty legal stouch.

Maybe there's a special level of govt bureaucracy at play here, just for ICN? Maybe the govt department are sick of their nonsense too and this is a chance to oust a non-performer and let the tenement go to a better company.
