cougar, can't you see how ARBITRARY that decison LOOKS? It's CLASSIC Public Service, with Billions of dollars at stake, to reject an application because "the permit had expired". The permit had expired!!!
Icon has shared and held the permit for over 10 years, it was Icon's major business, with plans for millions of dollars of expenditure to develop a multi billion dollar project, including the possibility of being a hub for Blue Hydrogen in Australia.
And they were told to piss off because "the permit had expired"!!! Do you reckon that a government Minister woud come up with that decision, unless???
This won't be going away without a huge fight, pity those last dollars might go to a Law Firm instead of drilling wells.
