i think they had to resolve the exit deal with crinum owners before they could make a deal. Who would put in captial with that uncertainty overhanging. it looks like they have quantified that as well the sale of the excess equipment (hopefully they did not have to take too much of a haircut on that as the boom in coal at the moment and the inflationary pricing of new equipment may protect the downside). Maybe they need to exit pybar and get back to their roots with underground coal as their focus. it will be with us for another 20yrs so focus focus focus and get back to paying dividends. the mining companies are doing it and MYE are fighting for survival. too ambitious too fast...
